Innovation is on the menu at the Spring Food Show.
At the Spring Food Show on May 5th at the DECC, give your stomach a break for a few minutes and learn how to keep your operation up-to-date with the latest technologies sweeping the food industry. The team at the ULF Tech booth will be around all day to chat with you and answer questions, and in the afternoon we will host three roundtable sessions about various topics in technology. These informal, 20 minute sessions are your opportunity to ask questions, see real-world examples, or listen.
Here’s what we’ve got for you:
Session 1: Technology in Your Operations – 1:00 p.m
Speaker: Tim Nelson, Director of IT
This will be an overview of technology topics that every operation should be aware of: internet connection, POS, back-end accounting, digital displays, online menus/ordering, etc.
Session 2: How to Be #Awesome on Social Media – 2:00 p.m.
Speaker: Mariah Berg, Digital Marketing Coordinator
Learn how to use social media to its fullest extent, connect with your audience, and be generally awesome. This session will tackle best practices on various social networks, and give you tips on how to step up your social game.
Session 3: Technology Q & A – 3:00 p.m.
This roundtable will be open-ended and driven by participants’ questions. For example: should I offer Wi-Fi at my restaurant? How do I choose a POS system?
