Chicken Sausage Naan Bite

Prep chicken sausage patties by thawing them overnight in the refrigerator and then cutting them into quarters. Set aside. Preheat oven to 350*F.

Slice cheese into quarters. Set aside. Wash, pit, and cut peach into thin ¼ inch slices then cut each slice in half. Set aside.

To prepare for service; line a sheet tray with parchment. Slice naan into 2″-3″ pieces. Top each naan bite with a tablespoon of fig preserves. Then start to shingle the other ingredients by laying one piece of peach on top of the fig, then a piece of muenster cheese, then a piece of chicken sausage. Lastly, top with another piece of fresh peach.

Continue assembling the remainder of the naan bites.

Place the sheet tray of assembled naan bites into the oven and set a timer for 4 minutes. After time goes off, rotate pan and place back into the oven for 1-2 minutes or until all components are brought up to temperature and cheese has melted, helping to hold all components together.

Garnish with fresh parsley or basil.
