National School Breakfast Week March 2-6

So, what is National School Breakfast Week?

It’s a week-long celebration of the National School Breakfast Program, established by Congress in 1975. Schools across the U.S. celebrate with special menu items, events, and activities for students. NSBW is the perfect time to bring attention to your breakfast program and increase participation.

Studies show that children who eat school breakfast are more likely to:

  • Have better concentration and memory
  • Reach higher levels of achievement in reading and math
  • Score higher on standardized tests
  • Be more alert and maintain a healthy weight

We’ve got some ideas for your program.
